韩杰，南开大学副教授。1972年7月生，河南开封人。1990-1994年在武汉大学化学系学习，获学士学位；1994-1998年在洛阳师范学院化学系任助教；1998-2003年在中国科学院成都有机化学研究所学习，获博士学位。自2003年起在南开大学化学学院工作，现任南开大学化学国家级实验教学示范中心副主任。2004-2005年在香港大学支志明院士课题组任研究助理；2013-2015在美国西北大学化学系Fraser Stoddart课题组任访问学者。主要从事有机光致变色材料、液晶材料及荧光探针的设计合成与基础应用研究，开发了一类新型稠环萘并吡喃类光致变色材料，改进了该类材料的褪色速率，显著提高了耐疲劳性能，解决了实际应用中的关键科学问题。系统研究了1,3,4-噁二唑类液晶化合物的结构与性质间的关系，开发了一类专一选择性Cu²⁺荧光探针。
